It’s quite common now to be involved in more than one committed relationship throughout your life. Statistics New Zealand figures show that about 1/3 of New Zealand marriages include at least one partner who has been married before.
Starting again has its own challenges. You want to draw on the valuable things you’ve learned from your previous relationships. You also want to avoid loading your new relationship down with too much unhappy ‘baggage’ from the past.
