Providing an effective, professional service is very important to us:
We employ staff with professional training and experience.
Our counsellors have achieved full membership of a relevant professional association, or are applicant members actively engaged in qualifying for full membership.
Relationships Aotearoa counsellors have regular professional supervision. This means they review their cases with an experienced senior counsellor to be sure that the counselling is safe, well focused and useful for the clients.
Our counsellors participate in ongoing training. This helps keep professional practices fresh and up to date.
We have Clinical Leaders in each area to provide professional support for our counselling services.
Nationally we have a Code of Ethics and other professional policies to guide our practice and decision making.
Clients' personal information is kept confidential. It is not passed on to others without your knowledge. Supervision and case reviews are managed in a way that protects client privacy.
Client safety is a top priority. We have systems in place to maintain client safety, particularly when a client is known to be at risk in someway.
Our agency is externally audited to be sure that our systems and policies translate to effective practice.
We value client feedback highly. We have a complaints procedure to use if clients are not happy with our service. We also have feedback forms that we ask all clients to complete, and we conduct a 6 monthly client satisfaction survey.
If you would like to know more about our quality systems you can talk to the Area Manager or Clinical Leader in your local Relationships Aotearoa office. You can find the contact details in Contact Us.
